Here are the changes we are making:

There is a big back story to the Magus card (totally unintentional, but very much in the tradition of the Thoth) which we will be releasing in the campaign updates. We have prepared two Magus images, and are going to leave it up to the backers to decide which to go for.

We felt that a new edition needed a a new design, so the card back is changing. The beautiful painting of the magical portal where I access the world of the cards will still be available in the large format book.

The second edition of the book, Thoth Journey has been edited slightly, and this time will be printed in a larger format 'perfect bound' book and published in full colour on 100g paper. Each intuitive journey will appear alongside its large full-colour illustration (tarot image) and with the condensed meanings, astrological, kabbalah and seasonal correspondences. The larger format and better "feel" will ensure that the physical presentation matches the magic of the interior.

Aquarius Edition LWB - 176 page booklet! Contains brief summary meanings from the stories as well as more traditional interpretations. Each card image is presented along side, together with astrological, kabbalah, lunar, numerological and tarot correspondances. A wealth of occult information at your finger tips. A colour cover with a black & white interior.
New compact boxed set with 2/3 lid - Easier to open; less costly to ship which contains the deck and LWB booklet (Note: The Thoth Journey book is now a bigger size and will not be shipped in a box).

The Cards:

- The size of the cards is 70 mm (2.75 inches) wide and 117 mm (4.60 inches) tall.
- The 79 card deck consists of 22 Major Arcana, 56 Minor Arcana and the extra card "Malachi". The Minor Arcana are broken into four suits: fire (wands), water (cups), earth (pentacles), and air (swords).
- The card material is 300g white core paper as opposed to the black core paper that we chose previously. We hope this will give a slightly less flexible feel. There is full colour printing on both sides.
- The deck will be cello wrapped for extra security during shipping, as we had issues with this the last time. We have learned from our mistakes!
Note: Unlike the 1st Edition, the cards in the Aquarius Edition are not gilded.

What is Inside the Box ?

- The new, smaller, sturdy rigid box is 122 mm (4.80 inches) long, 82 mm (3.22 inches) wide and 42 mm (1.65 inches) deep and has a 2/3 lid style.
- The surface of the box is printed in full colour and has a soft matt laminated finish.
- The interior of the box is finished in colour.
- The box contains the Thoth Journey Tarot - Aquarius Edition, a 79 card deck along with a perfect bound guide book containing a wealth of occult knowledge. Brief intuitive meanings for each individual card are laid out next to the card image, together with astrological, seasonal and kabbalah correspondances, information on the deck and how to use it. The guide book has a colour cover with black and white printing inside and consists of 176 pages; it measures 120 mm (4.72 inches) x 80 mm (3.14 inches).

Thoth Journey - The Book:
On this occasion, the book is being presented in two formats: printed and digital.

- We have decided to offer these two formats so that more people can avail of the book.
- The printed version is a large format special edition, it measures 246 mm (9.68 inches) height x 189 mm (7.44 inches) width. Contains 180 pages printed in full colour on 100gr paper. It is 'perfect bound' with a matt laminated 300gr cover and contains the full version of all 78 intuitive journeys. Each story is presented with its artwork alongside, together with the condensed meanings, astrological attributions and the seasonal, lunar and kabbalah correspondances.
- The digital version is in the usual eBook format, but will be carefully created to retain the intended layout.
