The Forager's Daughter Tarot is a collection of 83 uniquely illustrated cards, featuring 78 traditional cards inspired by the Rider Waite Smith deck, plus five original cards added to the Major Arcana. Each deck includes a full size, hardcover printed guidebook with full color images and detailed descriptions of each card's meaning (including upright and reversals). Afterlight is a term coined in the 1800s. It describes two things; the time of twilight just as the sun is setting before nightfall (the golden hour), and the idea of retrospect. This edition of the deck was a chance for me to look back at my previous work and honor those humble beginnings while using new skills to refresh some of the design elements. The dusky purple alongside the gold gilt edges encompasses that magical twilight hour where the waking and sleeping worlds overlap. It was the perfect descriptive word and I'm so excited to share it with you.

The images in these cards are meant to act as a reflection of our own lives. From the transformation of cicadas and butterflies, to stags locked together by aggression, to new growth after an icy winter, and everything in between: these are the metaphorical manifestations of what we experience as we go through life.
